Consumer Expenditure Survey - POF 2002-2003

First Results - Brazil and Major Regions

It presents the first results of the survey, with tables on expenses, incomes, per capita household food acquisition and subjective evaluation of life conditions, by geographic strata and classes of monthly income. Comments on the results of the survey are also presented.

The information is published for Brazil, Major Regions and also for urban and rural situation. For the Federative Units, the results refer to the total.

The publication also includes the concepts of the investigated characteristics and the methodology adopted in the survey. The CD-ROM enclosed with the publication contains, besides the information of the printed volume, a table plan for Federative Units.
