Special Indexes of Physical Production - Packaging
The series of Special Indexes of Physical Production - Packaging was constructed, through a specific approach of the Monthly Survey of Mining and Manufacturing Physical Production (PIM-PF), with the objective of increasing the understanding regarding the evolution of a determined industrial segment in the short-term. This indicator shows the products of PIM-PF identified with the production of packaging, generating not only information for the total aggregated, but also according to its origin (glass, metal, wood, paper and paperboard and plastic material). The series was started in 2002.
