This publication makes public the results of the Special Survey about Lodging, experimentally carried out in the State of Rio de Janeiro, in the ambit of Convênio de Cooperação Estatística União Européia/Mercosul e Chile, aiming at knowing the structure and functioning of the hotel sector in the region.
This publication makes public the results of the Special Survey about Lodging, experimentally carried out in the State of Rio de Janeiro, in the ambit of Convênio de Cooperação Estatística União Européia/Mercosul e Chile, aiming at knowing the structure and functioning of the hotel sector in the region.
It includes information about the number of establishments, habitational units and accommodations for guests, personnel employed in the activity, personnel expenses, income, costs and expenditure, equipment and services offered and touristic movement in hotels, among other lodging establishments, stratified according to the size of the establishment and touristic regions. Selected information is presented by municipalities and special localities.
It includes comments about the results, making evident the touristic potentiality of the State of Rio de Janeiro, technical notes of the survey and glossary with the concepts considered relevant.
